課程概述 |
課程簡介：
本課程以研讀有關西方與中國身體與疾病觀歷史的著作為基礎， 進而討論及比較中西觀點之異同。課程上半以討論身體與性別觀為重點。 下半以討論疾病觀為重點。

課程目標 |
進行方式：
導師主講課程第一次（9月29日）與下半第一次（12月15日）， 即有關身體觀與疾病觀的導言。其他上課時間， 以導讀指定著作及討論相關課題為主。每次請同學作約半小時的報告， 隨後即進行討論。雖然每次只有一至二位報告的同學， 但每一位同學都應讀過指定的著作， 積極參與討論。指定閱讀的作品就算有中文譯本， 亦以英文原本為讀本。

課程要求：
每一位同學作口頭報告一次， 並發報告大綱給每一位同學。課程結束時交研究報告一分， 字數約三至五千字。研究報究題目自定。 應與本課程相關，並於11月10日以前與導師討論該題目是否合宜。研究所同學的研究報告必須利用原始資料。本課程並無筆試。成績以口頭報告、平日討論表現、與研究報告為準。
